Morning everyone! Our company Christmas luncheon is today - the CEO sends everyone home afterwards but I know we (my boss and I) will have to go back to the office because of a few things we're working on. Oh well - hopefully I'll get to run into everyone at the after-party after work!

Almost 25 hours... 6 hours to San Fran, 4 hour layover, then 14.5 hour nonstop to Sydney. I have this fear that I"m goign to end up on some desserted island, like Lost
I don't know how I"m going to get through this.. the longest flight I've ever been on was 4 hours.
Well, there will me movies - that makes time go by fast. If you can read that'll help too; it makes me nautious. Doing word puzzles or Sudoku helps me a lot. I usually leave around 3 on Fridays but the office officially closes at 3 today for the Christmas holiday, so maybe I'll leave at 1.

Our vacation time goes from Sept 1st - Aug 31st, so I didn't have to burn time before the year end, but I'll still rather be home playing with all my new things I got yesterday.
I guess when I'm off two weeks in July, I'll be thanking myself.

I sincerely hope I can rely on my own countdown. First kid hits college in the fall of 2008, last in the fall of 2011. I suppose I can squeeze by on the pension as long as they go to State colleges or live at home and commute to college.
