How about making custom user titles / more avatars go hand in hand?

I think 1000 posts should be the point at which not only can you pick from all the avatars, but also get to use a custom user name. I mean only about 220 something out of the over 6000 users on this site have over 1000 posts, am i right? I mean 4000 seems a little steep in my opinion.

Along the same lines i think custom avatars should be given at 2000, for the same reasons.

Sharing my opinion, i think the base level for the normal avatars should be doubled to 2000, and the custom avatar be put to 10K. Too many people over 1000 these days, gotta cut back on the bling-bling to get folks talkin

In that same vein, I think at 25,000 posts you should have to start over, to prevent anybody from getting carried away... er ... nevermind.
