    11-3.

    Tejada is an awful baserunner.

Tejada scores on a sac fly by Javy ... I'm beginning to think the Birds might have a shot at winning this one.

the darn annoying 1/2 game difference isnt going away. the red sox dont play on the 3rd of june and the yankees do, so in 3 days the 1/2 game will come back.

Has anyone noticed that whenever the red sox play and the yankees have the day off that the sox usually lose? i remember many times this year this has happened.
    Hoping Rivera can pitch forever!

    Fire Thomson now!!!

Yup, and the Yanks don't play on any Monday in June...not sure of the Sux schedule, so this is gonna be around for a while I'm afraid...

Why no Monday baseball for the Yanks? This is the second month in a row. I'm sick and tired of having to run 16 miles between the Sunday game and the next Yankee game ...

I went to a game, I think in 1999, where Ricky Ledee hit one against the Mariners. It hit the top of the center field wall, Griffey jumped to get it and missed, then it bounced off the wall and rolled toward the infield, giving Ledee enough time to motor around the bases.

Don't know if that was the last one by a Yankee, but it's the last one I remember.

I have no idea ~ the schedule this season absolutely sucks, although I guess it's good that the 12-game road trip was in May, and not in August....

All right, nice job by Ed Rod ... he looks good, hope he's all tired out and can't pitch against the Yanks!

I was at that game also.........I was so busy watching Griffey misplay the ball.........that I was surprised to see Ledee suddenly cross home plate!
