Interview with Glenn Stout ( Sox and Yankees historian)

Glenn Stout author of RED SOX CENTURY and YANKEE CENTURY did a lengthy interview with us over at RR. In the interview he offers a possible hint on who a future Yankees owner may be.

and an interesting sidebar is how the Yankees almost moved to Boston after buying Babe Ruth

When the Yankees nearly moved to Boston

Fenway Park goes dark now. For a while. No "Sweet Caroline." No "Dirty Water." No "Tessie" sweeping up on the big board while the Dropkick Murphys send everybody home with a smile. The only activity at the yard in the next 11 days will be the Sox grounds crew pondering where to put the World Series logo in the grass behind home plate. Dan Shaughnessy

Because the Yankees held the deed to Fenway...
