I just saw Dontrelle Willis and some other guy do some really annoying dance in the dugout, so I'm now rooting for the Giants.

I'm the guy who picked Marlins in four. I think San Fran will have its hands full with the Fish...plus, I don't think Dontrelle will pitch in Game Four; I think he'll go sooner than that if they need him.

I think the Marlins might be able to take a game but the Giants have a considerable edge, especially with Jason Schmidt pitching two games if need be (although I don't think that will be necessary). Since I'm not expecting many high scoring affairs I'm going with the Giants in 4.

With the Marlins being the "only game in town" for me in South Florida.. I would like to see them advance.. The Marlin Mania this year has been unbelievable the last couple of months...Aug/Sept. Thanks to "D-Train" Willis..

Nice to see people come out to ProPlayer...Wearing their ol' 1997 WS gear...(haven't seen much of that since then.. )

I was there last Friday night when they clinched the WCard...and the place was literally "rockin'"...If they can win 1 game from the Giants...watch out!!!...They will be hard to stop with their SR and their line-up....Barry Bonds be damned!!...

Schmidt was very impressive in the opener. The Fish has their work cut out for 'em.

The Florida Marlins are currently exhibiting what not to do when your team is down 0-1 (i.e., lose game two) .

Dont know is this is the place for it ...but a great "human interest" story in the SunSentinel this past Sunday.

    http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/b...sports-marlins

I had the pleasure of meeting both of these ladies in "97 and on various occasions in later years as a Marlin game attendee..

After watching them come back from being down 4 - 1 today to tie it up...and again down 5 - 4 to go up 7 - 5 and finally win the game, 9 - 5...

I have to agree with Sandy Doner....Rose is watching..and maybe helping....

    GO MARLINS!!!....

Heart would like to see the Marlins win, but my brain is giving the edge to the Giants. I hope my heart is right.

I really do like the Marlins and think it would be great if they advanced but I can't stand watching games in that horrendously ugly park. It's just annoying as hell. I know this is a bad reason not to wanna watch because they usually play a hell of a baseball game.

I wonder what this will do to their attendance next year

I wasn't rooting for either team as I don't like Barry OR Ewwwwgie. Do you think the 3rd base coach should have sent the runner when Ewwwgie had already lost control (hitting a batter, giving up a hit, etc.)?

To coin a phrase used by notorious Yankee hater and Giant fan, Chris "Mad Dog" Russo.."I'm still playing baseball..and you aren't!"
