This week (Sept 1-5), the NY Daily News has a special Yankee color pullout special for each day, as done by Bill Gallo.
Next week, the NY Post has something, but I'm not sure what it is.
Sorry f/the late notice.![]()

The Post thing is actually a ten part "Yankee Century Series'
supposedly glossy inserts for two weeks.
It wasn't in the Post I picked up this morning. I'll have to buy one again later.

I just read the first installment of "The Yankees Century" from the Post, and it was very entertaining, particularly the section on Babe Ruth by Creamer. Some of those photos I had never seen before. The fact that these are being issued in a magazine style format rather than newsprint is an added plus.
I saw 3 issues of the monday Post and none of them had anything in them as far as glossy photos. What is it I was supposed to have gotten?
It's a glossy magizine with Ruth on the front cover, the picture that Carissa posted is on the backOriginally posted by terry14420

Well now that's monday and tuesday where I got nothing inside the Post. Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know whom I can contact to get these?
I would assume the Post. The security was pretty tight when they were printed so there's none left at my dad's workOriginally posted by terry14420

In the 42nd St area (Grand Central & Times Sq), I've gotten the NY Post w/special inserts. Yesterday (Tue, 9/9) had The Mick on its cover; today's (Wed, 9/10) had Jeter on the cover. In the afternoons, they're 25¢, and even the Times is also half-priced.
If anyone wants me to pick up an extra copy f/them, just PM me and we'll work it out.

The post series appears to be ended, but those were great little multi-paged inserts. On glossy paper, too!!!

Its started 9/2 and is finishing up on Friday.
One of the guys at work has been giving them to me.
There are only three left.
I dont know if they are offering them.
No links that I could find. The only links I've ever had to any of Gallo's drawings ae contained in the "Yankee Artwork" thread in YD.Originally posted by puckmaster87
