Is it just me or is anyone else getting promted for a private message ever time they come to the site

What did the message say? Probably that you had a new private message. If it stopped it's either because you marked all forums as read or you read the private message.

Yes, It said that I had a message, but it was for the same PM and I kept getting the message even after I read the PM

That happens if you hit back instead of refreshing the screen.

But now, I just got a pop up telling me I have a PM and it was for one that I read this morning and answered this morning!

When you're on the main "forums" section, whereby you see all forums, jump to the bottom and see how many unread messages you've got. If it says you've got 1 or 2 messages, but 0 unread, then you can just ignore the prompts.

If it says that you have 0 unread, you shouldn't be getting the popup. Are you saying that you've gotten the popup even though you've read all the PM's?

And FYI - you can disable the pop message all together if you edit your options.
