The Yankees 10th Round selection out of Old Miss.He is a must sign.

I believe he is a 4 year Sr. so there shouldn't be a problem there.Jist slow on the signing newss this year.I went to the Old miss weeb site but nothing we listed about him other then being drafted.

Just went to his home town paper and Although it didn't say he signed yet it did say that he was diappointed in being drafted in the 10rd he was glad he was drafted by the Yankees and he was told he'll be reporting to SI in 2 to 3 weeks.He said he looks good in pinstipes.I E- mailed BA again and told them of my diappointment in there signing info.Right after they listed Randolph and Katler as being signed .Big deal we've known about that a week ago.

Beam was a major starter at Miss, and logged some high pitch counts this year (like White). I would play it safe with him and bring him in late (say mid- July) and shut him down after 50 innings or so.

He's got a career ahead of him, and the Yanks have pitching in abundance at SI, they should take this slow. Of course, it also leads to slow acknowledgement of signings.
