-The New York Squeaks released Mets catcher Mike Piazza to waivers Tuesday. "We felt that he is going to have an off year and we felt we needed to get rid of him" Squeaks GM Soriambi said. They signed Seattle C Ben Davis to replace him.
-Junior's Bashers cut Florida speedster SS Andy Fox and signed Detroit SS Omar Infante. The Bashers signed Kansas City RF Brandon Berger as well.
-The Dawgs from Easton cut RF Karim Garcia and picked up Minnesota 2B Luis Rivas. THey then immedietely cut Rivas, refusing to honor his contract with the explanation "April Fools." They signed the Baltimore OF Marty Cordova to take his place. Cordova should platoon this year. THe Dawgs also cut SP Brett Myers, OF Michael Tucker, and C Sandy Alomar Jr. They signed SP Mike Maroth, SS Royce Clayton, and C Mike Matheny.
-Fishing with Mendoza picked up Yankees 3B Enrique Wilson. As of this date they STILL don't have Ramiro Mendoza.
-Trevor Hoffman was cut Tuesday morning as the Senators picked Jesus Colome up off of Waivers.
-The Evil Empire cut Mets OF Timo Perez and signed Montreal CF Endy Chavez.
