Where do I post these? I've heard one from another site stating that after '98, Dolan wanted to buy out the Yanks, and the deal fizzled, so that's a real f/the current CV/YES fiasco, which I'm trying to confirm the validity of.

What I'd meant was to post as if to "ask", rather than to "tell" that it had happened. I saw this on a board and two people seemed to believe it had actually occurred after the '98 season, but it's news to me.

I wasn't sure if YH or the YES section would be more appropriate, since it concerns both.

the YES forum would be the most appropriate i think, since dolan is a huge topic in there already.

just put "rumor" in the title, and obviously state that is a crackhead idea from some other, inferior, web site

no big deal.. the rumors that piss people off are things like "Soriano traded to expos for backup catcher's personal trainer's pants!!!"
