Thanks for sharing the article about Maris. I, of course, remember the 1961 season vividly and will never forget the race between Mantle and Maris. The picture of Pres. Truman with the two of them would be worth a mint today if all three of them had signed it! By the way, thanks for the kind words you had to say about my mom, it meant a lot. I think your love of the Yanks transcends in your posts. Keep it up!

Sixty one, coming from someone here who's very respected, both as a Yankee and baseball fan, and as a human being, I'll be very humbled by your last post. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

As for your Mom, I wish your family the best and I believe any decent person would do just that. And thank _YOU_ for always enlightening us upon Yankees in the past.

I only wish I'd put his ESPN-C profile on the same tape as his Yankeeography, but that's OK. It was really good stuff anyway.
