    Fan strike 8/29?

I do have tickets for the game on the 29th... but I am not going to leave in the middle of the 3rd inning! I haven't gotten to go to any games this year!

If I was given a ticket I'd do it, most likely only a few will anyway, but I'm certainly not giving another cent to Major League Baseball owners and players untill I'm guaranteed a lasting agreement that includes a promise of no play stoppages from either side.
As it is, I'm not positive I'm willing to pay them anything even if this strike is avoided

It will be hard considering it is a family trip that has been planned for a long while. Besides I am not sure of how any family trips are left!

honestly, a walk out is a cool symbolic gesture, but I say don't stop there. Start a fan strike for the week before 8/30.
"We understand that John Henry must be embarrassed, frustrated and disappointed by his failure in this transaction. Unlike the Yankees, he chose not to go the extra distance for his fans in Boston. It is understandable, but wrong that he would try to deflect the accountability for his mistakes on to others and to a system for which he voted in favor. It is time to get on with life and forget the sour grapes."

I swear, if I see another sign from someone complaining about the high cost of ticket prices.........

If I go to a baseball game this year, I think I'll take a sign along with me saying:

"YOU DO NOT PAY $5 FOR A GLASS OF BEER AND $25 FOR A TICKET BECAUSE A-ROD MAKES $250 MILLION. YOU PAY $5 FOR A GLASS OF BEER AND $25 FOR A TICKET BECAUSE YOU'RE WILLING TO PAY $5 FOR A GLASS OF BEER AND $25 FOR A TICKET!"
