    Six innings done ... eighteen Mets up, eighteen down. He's two thirds of the way there!

    Perez just saved his own perfect game by dashing to first to cover on a grounder by speedy Cedeņo to the first baseman ... first baseman bobbled and Perez was right there to BARELY get the out ...

    Now he's 3-0 on Ordoņez ... now it's 3-2 ... (first three ball count in the game!)

    Ordoņez walked! (Looked like a strike to me!) Mets fans are BOOING ... this drama was all they've had to cheer about in a long time!

    Still got a no hitter going!

    Wow, one swing by Piazza and that was the end of that!

    It's ten TWO Dodgers ... on Piazza's two run homer. :rolleyes:

    Leave it to Flamboyant Mike to hit a dinger with his team down by ten runs. Clutch!

    I heard that the Mets fans broke into a chant in the third inning ( while the no-hitter was still intact, and they were looking pitiful. Again.) ====>>>>

    " Go on strike. Go on strike. Go on strike ".

    .Of all the things in life I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

    NYY = 8-2
    Sux = 5-5 (still playing .500 ball, I see)
    Muts = 2-8 (10th home loss)

    Pizzaboy talks self-importantly about the his passing Johnny Bench in jacks as a C. Dudette Michelle, your .475 team is in sole possession of last place, 21.5 GB, this after being in first around April or May.

    Sooner or later, they'll "get it", but until then, I'll keep having fun as they get smacked around and have their candy taken away from them, sand kicked in their faces by every contending or half-decent team out there.

    I can't believe Perez got squeezed by two (2) Umpires on the walk to Ordonez. It looked like a strike & it looked like he went too far on the check swing. Those two umps are idiots....why would they do that.

    Perez was clearly upset by the call & grooved one to Mikey Press Conference.

    Oh well, at least the Mets lost and further entrenched themselves in LAST PLACE.

    They are clearly the WORST team money can buy.
