Hi all---New member here (obviously). I was a member on the MLB.com forum but that forum has just gotten ridiculous. Out of every 1000 threads there is one that is actually about something interesting and the trolls are out of hand! I saw someone mention this forum a few times and just now decided to check it out.
I'm a 28 year old female fan who loves this game more than anything else. I go to about 20-30 games a year (in the Tier Reserved, I'm not rich ya know!). I'm a big Giambi fan...he endeared himself to me when I waited 6 hours in the rain by myself (all my friends left me!) for him to come through with the Grand Salami to win the game against the Twins.
Well it's getting late and I have to work tomorrow but I just registered and wanted to pop in and say hi before I went to sleep. I look forward to talking to you all in the future. This is only my second message...only 998 to go before I can put a pic in my sig!! Later...
