    Mets and Seaver

I found myself bored without being able to watch the Yanks this afternoon, so I put on the Mets just to see baseball. I shut it off after one inning due to the boring brand of baseball I was watching and listening to the Big Ego...Tom (I was the greatest righthander of my time) Seaver. I couldn't stand it! Do any of the rest of you feel this way? I'm still hoping Cablevision will give in!

Sixty one I am from Piscataway, NJ and I know how you feel. I have been listening to the Yanks on WCBS 880AM this afternoon. With the crap going on with Cablevision I decided I should start listening on the radio. Since that is all I think we are going to get at least for the first part of the season.

Yes I too find Seaver & the Mets boring, will have to make a decision soon to drop Cablevision and go to Direct TV

I am hoping that one of the giants gives in soon. However, after reading a story in the Star Ledger today it doesn't look like either of them is willing to compromise. I think it's time for Tony Soprano to step in and give them an offer they can't refuse. I looked into DirecTV and after finding out what it would cost for installation and hardware I decided to wait. I also think that perhaps political pressure may need to be exhibited soon to get these egomaniacs to give in and help the nearly two million yankee fans out there to join with the rest of the area to see our yanks!
