    Ready Or Not, Here I Come!!

    Hi, Fellow Yankees Fans:

    I jumped over to this site with the hopes of ridding my life of those horrid little trolls over at the Yankees.com message board. I had been posting there since the end of the [tragic] World Series and have met many nice people on the site. Unfortunately, those nice people get lost in the crowds of disgruntled Red Sox and/or Mets fans who insist upon using the site to spew forth their rage against the Yankees. While I am perfectly capable of not letting them get to me, I have...well...let them get to me. I can no longer enjoy the merits of discussing baseball when every two seconds I feel the need to post some sort of evil retort to some horrid little speck of dirt who insists upon disparaging the Yankees. That was not my intent when I initially signed up on the board to while away the months/weeks/days/hours until Spring Training.

    Fortunately, I have been redirected to this site with the promise of effective moderators, interesting Yankee/baseball related topics for discussion and a better quality of people altogether. Many thanks to the kind folks on the Yankees.com site for recommending this site.

    Now...let's all get together and prepare ourselves for the onslaught of Spring Training (thank GOD!) and let's get ready for another spectacular Yankee Year!!

    I just joined here myself. Although I wasn't a member of Yankees.com as long as you were, I was also sick of the nonsense over there.

    I am glad there is a forum where we can enjoy discussing Yankee baseball without the bothersome trolls!

    For the record, the level of effective moderating here is a matter of pride with the administrator here. It matters to him, a lot, so I hope you appreciate it as much as we do. I occassionally go over to yankess.com or one of those OTHER forums just to remind me of just how good i got it.

    A bit of peeking in on the neighbor's fat old ugly wife going skinny dipping.. *shiver* Just enough of a shock to let ya realize that bb.com is the place to be.
