    How many posts do you need to get a custom avatar? ( I'll get Paulie one way or another! )

    click on "user cp" above, in the row of horizontal blue lines.

    In the horizontal line of links, click "Edit Profile".

    Scroll down to where it says "Signature", and put in the box:
    [.img]http://members.home.com/cyndre2/tino14.jpg[./img]

    then scroll down and "Submit Modifications"

    Just take out the periods, so that the code will work. If i didn't put the periods in, it would attach the image rather than showing you the code

    By the way..i copied your image, reduced it in size, so that it wouldn't be so big. Jim's trying to keep the size of people's signatures down, so the new image is just 9K

    I am starting to think I will never get a custom avatar..Then again at one time I thought I would never get an avatar and I got one of my Andy...

    I just can't wait to get a moving one cause they are cool..
    I already have one in mind..

    If I remember correctly it is about 1000 to get an avatar...5000 for a custom one...But I could be wrong on the first one...

    5000 posts seems awfully excessive. I am a member of other boards and even after posting regularly it still took me a few years to get to 3000 posts.

    Great at this rate I'll get a custom avatar in 2010....

    Do we get more avatar options as time goes by? I see a lot of people who don't have custom avatars having options of Mattingly, Jeter, etc but I only get 5 options.

    Actually the quickest way is to hold the arrow over where it says PROFILE. A box will pop up with how many posts a person has.
