The spitting was not too cool but what bothered me the most was the way he got in a hurtful "dig" about Hershbeck's deceased son. That was way too cruel.
The second problem I have with him is that he played the old "they only hate me because THEY are racists" game. That always gets people free membership in the "We do not consider you to be a reaql adult club". It was a cowardly response.
He is a great baseball player. Because of his selfish attitude and his childish reaction to the trouble that HE created for himself I am glad that he is NOT a YANKEE.
GO SORIANO!!!! I can't wait to see Soriano's 2002 season.
