    Yankee Players and Managers

There are 12 men who played for the Yankees at one time or another that went on to lead teams that they later managed to pennants. Can you name them, the team, and the year ?

    1. Lou Piniella 1990 Reds
    2. Billy Martin 1976 and 77 Yankees
    3. Yogi 64 Mets AND '73 Mets (It ain't over till it's over)
    4. Bauer - 66 Orioles
    5. Houk - 61 - 63 Yankees
    6. Howser - '85 Royals
    7. Bobby Cox - '95 Braves
    8. Leo Durocher - '41 Dodgers / '51 & '54 Giants
    9.
    10.

    Lou Pinella - Cincinnati - 1990

    Now I'm guessing:

Billy Martin - Oakland - can't come up with a year (this is a guess remember)

I do not know if you count Frank Chance. He managed the Cubs to pennants and THEN played for the Yankees.
