    Two questions:

    1) Are you sure there were only 10 of them?
    2) Are there any at-bats needed to qualify on this list?

I made some research and found 10 more:

    Tom Sturdivant(mentioned by Jim Roche),Monte Pearson,Johnny Murphy,Waite Hoyt,Carl Mays,Joe Bush,Al Orth,Bob Shawkey,Luis Arroyo(4 AB,2 hits, .500 BA in 1962, that's my question #2 is from),George Pipgras(.333,3-for-9 in 1924).

    That's make 13 overall(there are probably some more I didn't find).

Well, I wasn't putting a minimum number of at bats, but I was really looking for the guys who had a substantial amount of at bats...9 at bats hardly constitutes a full season if you know what I mean but I guess next time I'll be more specific...

When franchise was Baltimore Orioles 1901-1902, best hitting pitcher was Frank Foreman, 26 for 80, .325 (1901)

Franchise as New York Highlanders 1903-1912, best was Al Orth, 34 for 105, .324 (1907)

First pitcher to hit over 300 when franchise became Yankees (1913), was Allan Russell, 10-31, .323 (1917).

    I can't remember anything after 1917.

    Al Orth is correct...

    Not lookin for Baltimore stats...

I'm gonna put a min req of at least 50 at bats on this question...
