    This is totally meaningless but I found it an interesting "fun fact" -

    They all played for the Yankees and never won a ring with them, too.

    But great question... they're seriously the only three active players left who were managed by Billy Martin? It just would seem like there'd be more, somehow...

    I was actually thinking that but I didnt think that Velarde was up with the Yanks that far back. Oh well, I wished I had guessed it.
