Both teams playing really good defense...just need to keep it here and hope Sanchez can get a drive going in the 4th.

    Hahaha...what a dumb play.

Re: The 2010 Monday Night football Game Thread......

Harbaugh called it a few days ago.

    http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/spor...penalties.html

The Ravens should be careful in their pass coverage on Monday night because the referee is Walt Anderson.

That means it's essentially the same crew that officiated last year's Ravens game at Green Bay, where a total of 23 penalties were called for 310 yards (the second-most in NFL history). There were a combined nine pass interference penalties in the game.

"That crew calls a lot of penalties; there’s no doubt about it," coach John Harbaugh said. "That’s kind of one of their things. They call it the way they see it. They call it very tight. I think that’s going to be a big advantage for us."

Re: The 2010 Monday Night football Game Thread......

    So did Peter King:

Interesting little factoid about this game. Last year, when tonight’s officiating crew in the new New Jersey Stadium, led by ref Walt Anderson, worked the Baltimore-Green Bay game, the crew whistled nine pass-interference penalties. So now you know one of the reasons the Ravens had an interesting coaching point with their secondary players this offseason: Don’t touch the receivers going downfield.
