I think I'll get some Chipotle for lunch tomorrow.![]()
I voted Other because I have a great place a block away that is called Pinches Tacos that is great. Also, here in L.A. there is a Mexican place every other block and a lot of it more authentic than Chipotle, and I never heard of the other one listed. Chain places are just not as good, IMO.

Spectacular Tex-Mex and Cajun food at tremendous prices.

I just realized last night when I was walking my dog that a new restaurant opened, called Chipotle.
WEST HARTFORD - Chipotle, the popular burrito eatery where, according to the New York Times, you can, "witness-and taste-a shift in American fast food" toward "healthful, sustainable" fare, will officially begin dishing up its award-winning gourmet burritos, bowls, tacos and salads to the public on Friday, May 21. The restaurant is located in West Hartford’s restaurant and shopping district at 966 Farmington Ave. To mark this occasion, the first 100 customers to purchase a burrito, taco bowl or salad after 3 p.m. on opening day will receive a free t-shirt and free burrito card to use at a later visit.
As a pre-opening celebration on Thursday, May 20, Chipotle will throw a free burrito day. From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on May 20, guests can eat a Chipotle burritos filled for free.
I think I need to try it even though I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food....although the new Bestito restaurant is awesome!
Merry f'ing Christmas
One thing good about Chipotle is that it is very healthy. I saw the founder of Chipotle on Oprah and he was saying that all their pork and chicken are organic, the beef is not as yet but still comes from a reputable source. The produce is all organic too. Organic or not, I still felt like a blimp after coming out of there, they give you so much food. I ordered the Burrito that is in a bowl, no tortilla.Originally Posted by 4bronxbombers

I had my first chipotle trip yesterday for the first time since the beginning of summer, and man, that place Mexicanized my stomach before I was a 1/2 way done.
There's a Mexican place in Hoboken called Baja. It's the absolute shi*. They have this dish called Fajita Fundida (sp?). It's a flank steak, wrapped in monterey jack cheese, bacon, and poblano peppers. It taste like God's vagina. The steak itself is so so delicious. I don't know what they do with it, but my God.
As for chains, Chipotle and Moes are both very good. Qdoba is aight.
Calmer than you are.

I had one down the street from me and it closed down. Now I don't get it as much because it is not nearby for take out.Originally Posted by Beyle
They are opening a Chipotle down the street so that will be another take out place for Mexican food.

Unfortunately, about the best you can do around here is Moe's.
