"Don't Give Up...Don't Ever Give Up." - Jimmy Valvano
One must know pain to be a hero.
Interesting choice to move it back to Wednesdays... I wonder what that will do to the ratings. Either way, should be a fun season, though the rumors about Season 22 have a lot of more involved fans worried about whats to come.

Actually, most people are hearing its Rob v Russell... what that means, who knows.Originally Posted by Big_E

Well, Survivor's first season in Borneo did well in the ratings with their highest range between 23-28 million since episode 3 and the finale had a 51.7 million people watching on a Wednesday.Originally Posted by machphantom

I just want to see the real 'Coach' Jimmy Johnson out there. Ben Wade just lost his Survivor rights to that name.
I say they need to cast the "Jersey Shore" group vs. a Lindsay Lohan-led group of sad, drunken has-beens.
.Of all the things in life I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Well, BB55 and Joel Gertner will watch the Survivor: Nicaragua premiere from Vegas. They earned their vacation for the next three days.

my thoughts after ep 1:
I don't think Jimmy Johnson makes it to the merge, mainly because I don't see his tribe winning many challenges. His only chance is if they switch it up and some of the kids hero worship him.
No surprise taking Wendy out, and she might have had a chance if she didn't open her mouth at TC. I think that made it unanimous.
The amputee girl intrigues me, Chad from Vanuatu was the first amputee they had and he made the jury IIRC.
'Fabio' reminds me of Erik from Fans V Faves, only with fewer brain cells.
My early pick is Chase based on what I've seen tonight. They showed him making a few key alliances that could help him down the line.
Good episode. I think after 4 weeks they will mix things up and go away from the whole ages thing.
In "Cook Islands" they were divided by race, and that only lasted until the third episode.
"Exile Island (Panama)" was also divided by age, and that lasted only until the second episode...
Fantasy Baseball: Larrupin' Lou's; New York Knights.
The age thing will last two episodes. For one, it's too much of a disadvantage and they can't do physical challenges, which they always do early and are the best. I expect a change in the third episode before the reward challenge.
The Medallion of Power is a ridiculous name. I'm sorry, it's hard to take that seriously.
I think Jimmy was sincere when he said "I'm not going to win." He would need to go to the final 2/3 with the most unlikeable person ever.
