They give me a headache. Well, not literally, but they are extremely distracting when you're trying to read other posts or post yourself. (I know ... in Firefox, you can always hit ESC.)

Anyone know how to attract a mod's attention to this? I already tried reporting one of the offending posts (late last night).

Perhaps respond to his posts with outrageous political statements or controversial religious questions to draw attention.

It probably won't work and if it does, you might get RO'd, but it's worth a shot.

I might try that, but I found a better solution ... I had Firefox block images from the source of that .gif.

EDIT: Looks like the entire sig is gone anyway, whether by divine intervention or another means ... who knows.

I'm, not mad about the gif being removed, what i'm pissed of about is the "united til i die sig" my mate made me a few years ago is gone too when the mod deleted the sig. The reason its got me annoyed unfortunately that mate has passed away, I just hope I saved it on a hard drive or something.

I just got a message saying my sig has been deleted according to Forum Policy and they thank me for my cooperation. I have had no warning whatsoever nor was I told/asked to remove it.

That's pretty messed up. Just my humble opinion of course, but you should have been given notice that way you could have saved it.

Do me a favour, find a rope, a bridge and discover gravity. I've got photo's of me and the mate, needless to say that sig he made for me so i guess it has sentimental value on it, not that you would know what that is.

^Oh good, someone else thought of Google cache! I was going to try that when I got home from work.

For future reference: Google search results often include a "Cached" version of a page, which can be invaluable when the page itself has changed or is actually no longer there.
