Good evening everyone. Live from Safeco. This has been an interesting day here in Seattle. Heard that Lee dude isn't pitching tonight.

I can't believe MLB.tv have given me a free 10 day trial of their premium service just because i voted in the All-star game final vote. This along with my job interview at John Lewis has made it a pretty good day, hopefully Phil will round it off with a no-hitter (well i can dream)

so we have to wait a few more months to acquire Mr. Lee's services... meanwhile it would be nice to have an evening like the Sox are having up in Toronto, the Bluejay pitchers were misinformed that they were pitching in next weeks HR Derby: currently 14-3 Sox...

    Hm... Gardner not leading off.

Oh, well, he'll get more chances.

Instead of facing Lee we get to face one of the next great Sox pitching prospects. This should end well.

I was out all afternoon and evening, got home late, the game had started already, I saw Lee wasn't pitching and got all excited ... and now I find out he went to the Rangers. So, should I be sad or glad?

At least I'm glad he isn't pitching tonight. We have a lead!

What a bad decision to go with that FB there against Branyan. This is a guy he struck out twice on change-ups the last time they faced. Go offspeed, the guy only hits fastballs.

Sad because he isn't coming to the Bronx and glad because Boston/Tampa didn't get him.

    Re: July 9, 2010 Yankees @ Seattle

I guess he wants to attack their lineup with fastballs the first go around. Hopefully that is followed by curves and cutters in the later innings.

nice play by the captain, phil's curve looks good today, but players seem to be getting good contact so far

Wait, so they do still have Jack Wilson. And last night's SS was Josh Wilson.

    That shouldn't be allowed.

    Re: July 9, 2010 Yankees @ Seattle

    Two things.

1/ I am tired of Cy Young Pauley dominating like every scrub pitcher seems to.
2/ I don't want to hear another word about Cliff Lee for the rest of the broadcast.
