Something weird

It seems to involve our George. Whenever I check a thread where's he's posted, I get a weird error message. It says:

Not Found

The requested URL /about:blank was not found on this server.


Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

i use IE 6.. and i've never experienced this. I use IE 7 at home, and have never experienced this.

It also deactivates the links over the thread title. I have to hit backpage to get away from the page.

I've noticed the same thing....since this morning or yesterday, i cant recall.....it was in the "random political crap thread" on page 77...and wouldnt you know it, George's post happens to be at the top of that page....

I PM'd him and asked him to remove his sig temporarily to see if it helps. He said he tried, and it keeps coming back.

I tried blocking sigs first, then avatars (in case it was his avatar), but done of it seemed to work, so I had to block George all together, which worked perfectly. As soon as it is fixed, I'lll unblock him. Sorry Georgie.

I'm very sorry that this is causing some folks a lot of problems. Yes, I now only post from the same computer. I have no idea what is going on as this seems to only happen here.

Ring took off my sig when I was unable to. When it was on there, it also caused me a ton of problems when I posted.

My avatar has been there quite a while. These problems seem to have started when I copied & pasted a quote into my sig, but as I said, it's since been removed.

Its kind of wierd, because sometimes the hidden code is only a few lines, and sometimes it is like 15 pages long. Even in this thread, in his two posts here, there was two lines of code in one of his posts, the post that says "LOL!!! Don't get me started on him!" has the following code:

"imput id="gwproxy" type=hidden)(!--session data--)(imput onlclick="jsCall();" id = "jsProxy" type="hidden'"

I purposely mispelled some words, and replaced the < and closing > with parenthesis so that it didn't mess with anything else. Does this mean anything to anyone?

The other code that appears in the political forum is like 15 pages long, and is javascript of some type.
