Highly frustrated especially after the ROUS' huge comeback over the weekend. My team of zombies had better show up this week.

    Michigan Wolverines at Evil Empire
The Wolverines look for a win in Week 7 to stay in the hunt. They have a big week ahead with 8 SPs going (if evil Joshie is ok). The offense is starting to heat up for the Wolvies (see Holliday, Posada & Glaus).

    Bad Apples at Angry Ligers
The Apples travel to Oregon this week to take on the rebuilding Ligers. The Apps will trot out 7 Starting Pitchers this week (8 if they give poor old Edwin Jackson another chance). The Ligers are still waiting for first pick (2nd overall) in the draft - Albert Pujols to start hitting like Albert Pujols.

    Romanian Yankees at Larrupin' Lou's
The RoYanks are flying high after their stunning win last week.
The LarLou's are flying high after their stunning win last week.
Can Miguel Olivo put up 30 pts again this week for the RoYanks?
Can Angel Pagan put up 27.5 pts again for the Lou's?
This should be a good matchup. The Lou's have the 6-5 SPadv.

Babe's Swinging Blasts at Miko's Marauders
England and Canada meets Canada. Both teams are coming off stinging defeats. Can Miko win this week? Will he quit the league this week? Will he hold a fire sale? The Blast hold an 8-5 SPadv, unless Miko gives Dave Bush a chance. The Blast are hoping for better things from Blalock (-1 last week), Slowey (-2 last week), and team mascot - Tyler Clippard (-3 last week). Should make for an interesting week. Let's just hope the trains in Canada are all on time.

    Rhode Kill at Boras's Holdouts
The Best damn 1-5 team heads to Holdoutville this week. The Kill are hoping their team wakes up this week. Last week was their first real dud of a week, despite their record. The Holdouts are ecstatic after their huge win last week. They're putting together 8 SPs (vs 6 for the Kill) this week and are hoping the Bautista factor remains in tact.

New York Squeaks at Those Magnificent Men In Their Deep Blue Stirrups
The Squeaks head to Connecticut to play the Nificents this week. Solid pitching (SPs & RPs) led the Squeaks to a big win last week. The Nificents are hoping for some better pitching this week. Both teams are sending out 6 SPs. Should be a good matchup. An important divisional game here.

Rodents Of Unusual Size at Naked Truth
The Rodents never thought they were going to pull out a win last week, but they were wrong. Now they face the Angry Naked Truth after a tough loss. This one could get ugly. Both teams will produce 8 SPs this week, so this could be a high scoring week. Both teams are 4-2 and are i game behind the Harry's. The winner could end up in 1st place (at worst 2nd). The loser will fall into 3rd place. I'm scared of this match up. You should be as well.

Springfield Nuclear Powerplant at Harry the K's Legends
The Powerplant will show their Power this week as this will be that magical 10 SP week that happens only when Mars crashes into Uranus. The K's look to rebound from their first loss and have 7 SPs of their own. Will that be enough? Will the Plant injuries subside? Will Austin Jackson ever not strike out on a high pitch?
    This one should be fun.

    Stubborn Jalapeños at Carolina Force
The Jalapenos look to snap out of it this week. They get 8 SPs this week and some pretty favorable pitching match ups.

The Lumberjacks at Guys with Wood
The Jacks have the ability to send out 10 SPs this week. Mars did crash into Uranus (as we saw above). Will they show faith in Zach Duke? (not likely)
The Wood Gnomes are hoping James Loney (Tunes) and Brian Boesch (man) keep swinging that wood well. Not to mention Martin Prado (so hard that he'd be a good hitter) rounding into great form and continuing.
Four teams in the Mantle are rooting for the Woodies. The Lumberjacks are rooting for the Lumberjacks.

Should be a fun damn week.

Seriously I hate this league. I will never get a break, never have any decision work out. I suck and I always will. I should name my team the Pirates. It's time to pack it in and trade for keepers again.

Re: Week 7 - Frustrated yet?

3 Days down, 4 to go (updates in brown)

    Michigan Wolverines at Evil Empire
The Wolverines look for a win in Week 7 to stay in the hunt. They have a big week ahead with 8 SPs going (if evil Joshie is ok). The offense is starting to heat up for the Wolvies (see Holliday, Posada & Glaus).
This one remains close, the Wolvies got DL'd by Posada & DooshBeckett, but their offense is clicking now. They are led this week by LaRoche and LaEpstein so far.

The Bad Apples came storming back yesterday with just under a hundred pts on the day. Laptop and the KapeKodKennedy lead the way for the Apps. John Ely and Toriiiiiiiiii Hunter are pacing the Ligers. Albert Pujols actually has a couple of points this week. All of Ligerdom wishes Asdrubal a speedy recovery.

The tenacious RoYanks have a 61 and a half pt lead over the Lou's at this early stage of the week. AJ & JPap in the negs is not helping the Lou's cause. Kyle Kendrick and TheFister are pitching well for the RoYs.

The Blast hold a 27 point lead in this match up of teams in the double digits after 3 days. CarPav contributed in a negative way to the Blast. David Ortiz leads the way for the Marauders (yikes), SkooterOh and Swisher may even play this week.

The Kill find themselves nearly 70 points down as we head to Thursday. Feliz Navidad leads the way out of the Bullpen for the Kill. The Ers (Verland and Carpent) have given the Holdout's their large lead. Uggla keeps on hitting as well.

In the other game of double digit teams, the Squeaks find themselves in a nearly 30 point hole at this time. The still have 5 (to 3) SPs left so there's no need to panic Squeak Fans. The MagMen are wishing they went a different direction on their 9th round keeper pick.

The Rodents are up 40 over the Truth. The difference here is the first 4 starts for both teams. The Rodents got points from all 4, the Truth did not. This one still has barn burner written all over it. Don't turn your TVs off.

The NukePlants hold a 24 point lead. It Wood be more of a lead if not for Kerry Would. The K's are still in this, despite writing this off. Carlos Saliva leads the Plant, Kuroda has the most K Points.

    Stubborn Jalapeños at Carolina Force
The Jalapenos look to snap out of it this week. They get 8 SPs this week and some pretty favorable pitching match ups.
In a bid for win one, the Jals take the early 53 point lead here. They have good production from Anibel (not a girl) Sanchez, Joe Saunders, and superstar Alex Rodriguez.

In the week's closest match up the LumberJackers have a slim 5 point lead over the Guys with Wood. DiceK and DiceWeaver contributed a total of negative 21 points to the Jack's cause, but on the positive side - Danks and Richard both put up 28 pts. For the Wood, Kyle Davies leads a very balanced attack.
If I had 3 wishes... One of my wishes would be to make a select few of you Pirates Fans.

Joel Piniero will not be getting the 5 points for a quality start tonight.

This is down to gallows humor... you know the kind of season I'm having when I sit Buehrle after several weeks of less than impressive outings... and tonight he's blanking the Marlins and could potentially get a CGSO.

    I hate my life.

    Sunday Update (in green)

    Michigan Wolverines at Evil Empire
The Wolverines look for a win in Week 7 to stay in the hunt. They have a big week ahead with 8 SPs going (if evil Joshie is ok). The offense is starting to heat up for the Wolvies (see Holliday, Posada & Glaus).
This one remains close, the Wolvies got DL'd by Posada & DooshBeckett, but their offense is clicking now. They are led this week by LaRoche and LaEpstein so far.
No more SPs. Its up to the Offenses and Bullpens. Wolvies down 25 or so.

Looks good for the Apples. Pujols putting up 12's is not getting it done. Both Teams made bad Bench Decisions (AGon & EdJack).

The tenacious RoYanks have a 61 and a half pt lead over the Lou's at this early stage of the week. AJ & JPap in the negs is not helping the Lou's cause. Kyle Kendrick and TheFister are pitching well for the RoYs.
Romania with nearly a 100 point lead. Put this in the in column for RoY.

The Blast hold a 27 point lead in this match up of teams in the double digits after 3 days. CarPav contributed in a negative way to the Blast. David Ortiz leads the way for the Marauders (yikes), SkooterOh and Swisher may even play this week.
The Blast have about a 50 point lead. Not looking good for the Miko's.

The Kill find themselves nearly 70 points down as we head to Thursday. Feliz Navidad leads the way out of the Bullpen for the Kill. The Ers (Verland and Carpent) have given the Holdout's their large lead. Uggla keeps on hitting as well.
Kill down 10, no SPs left. Carpenter going for the Holdout's. Can the Kill come back against all odds?

New York Squeaks at Those Magnificent Men In Their Deep Blue Stirrups
The Squeaks head to Connecticut to play the Nificents this week. Solid pitching (SPs & RPs) led the Squeaks to a big win last week. The Nificents are hoping for some better pitching this week. Both teams are sending out 6 SPs. Should be a good matchup. An important divisional game here.
In the other game of double digit teams, the Squeaks find themselves in a nearly 30 point hole at this time. The still have 5 (to 3) SPs left so there's no need to panic Squeak Fans. The MagMen are wishing they went a different direction on their 9th round keeper pick.
Squeaks lead by nearly 40. Will Sheets guide them to a win?

Rodents Of Unusual Size at Naked Truth
The Rodents never thought they were going to pull out a win last week, but they were wrong. Now they face the Angry Naked Truth after a tough loss. This one could get ugly. Both teams will produce 8 SPs this week, so this could be a high scoring week. Both teams are 4-2 and are i game behind the Harry's. The winner could end up in 1st place (at worst 2nd). The loser will fall into 3rd place. I'm scared of this match up. You should be as well.
The Rodents are up 40 over the Truth. The difference here is the first 4 starts for both teams. The Rodents got points from all 4, the Truth did not. This one still has barn burner written all over it. Don't turn your TVs off.
Truth down nearly 30. Halladay and Wilson are struggling. Rodents looking good here. All that could change.

The NukePlants hold a 24 point lead. It Wood be more of a lead if not for Kerry Would. The K's are still in this, despite writing this off. Carlos Saliva leads the Plant, Kuroda has the most K Points.
Plant hold a 40 point lead. Will it hold up?

    Stubborn Jalapeños at Carolina Force
The Jalapenos look to snap out of it this week. They get 8 SPs this week and some pretty favorable pitching match ups.
In a bid for win one, the Jals take the early 53 point lead here. They have good production from Anibel (not a girl) Sanchez, Joe Saunders, and superstar Alex Rodriguez.
Jalapenos will stay winless this week.

Woodies with a 25 point lead. Jacks need a good start from Weaver.
If I had 3 wishes... One of my wishes would be to make a select few of you Pirates Fans.

And I got it! 20 points from Weaver, still down 3 and then the clutch save from Andrew Bailey puts me up 5+ with almost all games completed.
