The "C" on Varitek's jersey is even funnier looking on a backup.

Heyward went three for three, with two walks, two RBI and a homer tonight.

And the Braves beat the Giants, so the only team left without both at least one win and one loss is Houston, who is 0-5.

Detroit walks off on a wild pitch by Cleveland's closer, heh. Johnny Damon with the game-tying walk.

Astros 0-6. Roy Halladay really unsurprisingly pitched a complete game with 0 ER and 8 K against them today.

my god. joe morgan just basically said that albert pujols has to know when and when not to 'turn it on', because if he goes out there and collects 4 hits and the cards win, the next day he will not be pitched to at all.

what a freakin amazingly brilliant analysis.

Hoffman was pretty great last year, even if twas in the NL.

Pujols can make anyone look bad, yes, but his pitches really looked bad and some completely missed. Hope he's not nearing the end. It's way too early to say that but the man is up there in age. Not everyone is like Mo.

I love coming home from a hard practice to see afternoon baseball. Watching the Nats-Phils, pumped to see BoSox-Twins and the regular season debut of Target Field at 4!

On a random note, I'm not a fan of the Nats' road unis. They need to return to blue undershirts and socks. Red doesn't work.

Would it kill YES to give the centered camera angle, like the one the Twins have?

The far offset angle that they show (on the road especially) is asinine. The viewer has no clue what's over the plate and what's not.
