Hey! Don't be taking my wordage out of contextary! I did mean all New York Yankee season holders should be equal, I said nothing of minor leaguers. But very nice turning it around on me.

Sure... the guy who paid $200 for his season tickets should definitely get the same privileges as the guy who paid $20,000 for his tickets. That seems fair...

not sure I follow......but per the yankees link, the Astros are not considered a "premium" game and therefore 19 ticket limit not 4

I think Arod is supposed to get #600 against Houston, if you believe all the projections.
Not sure if the Mariano give away makes it a premium.

I was trying to project when Mariano would get 500, fell short. its hard to predict
The real reason why the Yankees keep winning is cause the other team can't stop staring at the damn pinstripes

I meant they are giving away a Mariano statuette on the Friday night game vs Houston.

So looks like it's 99.9% sure new accounts are not going to get a crack at tomorrow's pre-onsale, as passwords have not been loaded into new accounts. All other plan holders will jump into the ring at noon sharp tomorrow.

What are your top games to get tomorrow?

    Mine are:
    1) Opening Day 4/13 tue
    2) Saturday Subway Series 6/19
    3) Final Sunday Red Sox 9/26
    4) Old Timer's Day 7/17 sat
    5) Bat Day 5/16 sun

Re: 2010 Regular Season Ticket Pickups

I still never got an email for the presale, but I have my presale password in my account. Hopefully it'll be ok tomorrow.

I'm going to go for a pair for Opening Day and as long as they're not between the bases or otherwise outrageously priced, I'll take them.

4 tickets to one of the Red Sox games, no preference.

I already got a good amount of games in my 20.2 plan. Not gonna go for broke like I did last year.

Re: 2010 Regular Season Ticket Pickups

I avoid Boston games like the plague. Too many jerk Red Sox fans to deal with. I do, however, sell any Red Sox games in my plan at a sizeable profit to people around here who can't get tickets at Fenway.

(BTW, just in case any of you don't know this, for the average Red Sox fan, getting tickets at Fenway is like finding the Ark of the Covenant. I know high school and college-age kids who have never been there because of ticket availability and who hope to go there someday in their pitiful lives.)

It goes both ways really, if the Yankees are winning than the Yankees fan rides the Red Sox fan and vice versa. I enjoy them because normally they mean something, thats why Im going for the last game, it should be a huge series. And about getting tickets for Fenway, a friend of mine whos a red sox fan said that if you get there early or stay over near the ticket window, they release like 5,000 tickets or something like that every game

I used both Internet Explorer and Firefox on the same computer for Yankees/Mariners tickets through ticketmaster on Saturday and it worked.

Maybe people complained about the 10 am, or maybe TM was having another big sale at 10 am and didn't want to jam the servers even more. I'm expecting a crapload of waiting time messages starting at about 10:02 am. If you don't have 2 games in hand by then it's going to be a long lunch break

Hmmm, you may be right. I'm so cynical I didn't even think that maybe TM or the Yankees did something to help the fans.

    Four per game.

Is anyone sure running IE and FF at the same time won't lock you out? All I need is a 10 minute lockout for trying something different.

As for new plan holders, I don't THINK they get a crack. When I first bought my plan (2005/2006), I contacted the office when I didn't receive my pre-sale password. I was told that I was exempt because I was a newbie. But I WOULD have access to playoff pre-sales.

even if they did, its probably not in the best interest to use it because the tickets will show up on that persons yankees ticket account and then they can do whatever they want with them. just a word of advice

I'm actually also hoping the passwords work. I remember a couple years back the password I got didn't even work and I couldn't get through to the Yankees to figure out what went wrong. When they finally told me there was an error with the password and ticketmaster it was too late.
