The 1 day I cannot take off work they do it!

19 tickets! With all the plans out there that has to be a ridiculous limit from someone with a sense of humor.

check the 11 game plan games. they seemed to be picked out of that group. Of course if you bought an 11 game plan with these games at full price: "Too bad, we're not making adjustments"

Last year they were called Party Suites, maybe they're booking that area differently this year?

It looks from the seatihg chart like it is one suite section (they call it "Party Suite, Section 67") in left field behind the Main level.

    http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/nyy/b...ng_pricing.jsp

Edit: I looked again and there are more of those party suites in right field, so my original idea must be wrong. They wouldn't make that many suites available as a "party zone," would they?

If you have both a FS and a partial, do you get 2 pre-sale opps?

I would guess the answer is no unless they are in separate accounts.

    According to this:
    http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/nyy/t...ites_party.jsp
Suites #1 thru 7, and suite #67 are considered party suites. (Chart on bottom of page distinguishing which are which)

I thought that the entire Stadium was a party zone.

Anyway, there was mention of a Party Deck on the Terrace concourse awhile back.

So there won't be a lottery for general public sales this year? No need to register anywhere?

    Mark Your Calendars!

Here we go boys and girls, circle this Monday on your calendars because it's off to the races for the regular season presale:

    http://mlb.mlb.com/nyy/ticketing/sth_preonsale.jsp

It APPEARS (unconfirmed) that there will be only ONE pre-onsale for all licensees, regardless of plan type, which means full and 41's don't jump the line. It may be very hard to get extras this year. And another thing to notice, the sale starts at noon so plan your lunch break accordingly

As a 41 gamer...I am a little pissed that it is all on one day for the presale.

They probably don't have the inventory to have separate presales.

I would have liked to have seen the full season and 41 gamers get first crack, but it doesn't bother me enough to complain. That being said, I'm expecting the pre-sale to be an absolute circus.

I'm just going for 3-4 weekend games. I remember 3 years ago the Yankees allowed the shopping cart function on ticketmaster. Made life convenient.

Re: 2010 Regular Season Ticket Pickups

Has anyone read or heard anything about cafe seating...those stools set up behind the sections. I had tickets to one game in those last year...and it was pretty incredible.

Are they going to be selling them in the pre-onsale?...I would love to catch atleast one game from there this year.

I don't think anyone received an e-mail. I think GG found it by accessing the 2009 pre-onsale page.

I can't remember - has 41/full season plans always had a pre-pre-sale or was that something new in the past one or two years?

I feel like we've always had an earlier pre-sale.

Let me be clear, I'm all for the belief that seniority goes for relocation and upgrades. That being said, I think having one presale for STH is the way to do it. Just because someone can afford the Full Season doesn't mean they should get first dibs over someone who can only afford the 11 game pack and vice versa. This is a fair way of doing it.

You are right, that is the most fair, but it is also about managing the load on Ticketmaster's servers. If I can't get tickets to the game I want because I am waiting for TM, I will be a lot more upset than not getting great seats to the games I want because of 2 pre-sales.

yaneesrule...you are 100% right about the load on the TM servers...I've actually worked on evaluating order systems (not TM per se) and it can be a real big problem...

and what the Yankees in previous years, even though 2 separate pre-sales (full/41 and other STM), they had specific inventory for pre-sale 1 versus pre-sale 2...I know this for a fact as I tried to get some tickets/games for pre-sale 1 and couldn't find anything reasonable...then remember reading posts of people of pre-sale 2 and got exactly what I was looking for...and by all means, I'm not complaining about it and didn't last year...

A lot in this overall Yankee process is definitely about luck and timing...I know the Yankees don't necessarily disclose what they are doing/how they are doing things...and that's a separate problem in and of itself...just all in all, having 2 separate pre-sales for reasons above isn't necessarily contrary to all STH best interests, regardless of 11 game plan or 81 game plan or somewhere in between...my 2 cents...

I'll just login (or try to) at noon on Monday...and hope for the best...I don't expect anything...but if something good comes up...I will take it and feel lucky...

Personally I'm quite happy with my 20.2 plan. I just want 4 seats when the Sox come to town so I can trade someone for 4 seats at Fenway when the Yanks are in town.

Just confirmed that there is only one presale for all licensees. Existing Full, 41's, and partials all got the email notice this morning. Only question left is if new 2010 accounts are getting it. Anyone?

Last two years in the presales I had access to every game, including OD at NYS.

Yes, it has typically been every game available just limited to 2 tix for opening day and 4 tix for premium games.

Here is the body from the link from the email I received this morning:

    Ticket Limits Per Person:

The following Ticket limits are per person and shall apply to purchases made during the Pre-On-Sale, regardless of your designated Pre-On-Sale date: (i) two (2) Tickets to the Opening Day Game; (ii) four (4) Tickets to each of the Premium Games*; and (iii) nineteen (19) Tickets to each designated Game, other than Premium Games. All Ticket purchases are subject to availability, as determined by the Yankees in its sole and absolute discretion, at the time of purchase. Ticketmaster probably has it wrong...but here is what the page has:

    Ticket Limit
THERE IS A FOUR (4) TICKET LIMIT PER PERSON FOR PREMIUM GAMES. PREMIUM GAMES CONSIST OF OPENING DAY, OLD TIMER'S DAY, AND ALL GAMES BETWEEN THE RED SOX, METS & PHILLIES.

ALL OTHER GAMES HAVE A NINETEEN (19) TICKET LIMIT

Yes, I would think ticketmaster is not yet updated as I believe it was limited to 2 last year for opening day too.......I actually got lucky and picked two up during the presale!

Agreed. Everyone knows those games ate are cheaper and we're not some team. That needs to have perk like that in order to sell tickets.

I'm all for a free for all so to speak with ticket plan holders but minor league plans shouldn't get someone a Yankees presale. I'm sure the general public in say NY, NJ, or CT doesn't like knowing that Scranton Yanks ticket holders get tickets before them.

I have an SI Yankee fan along with the Yankee ticket plan (I highly recommend getting a plan- sit close and unlimited food with the seats for $15? Can't go wrong there..), and so far I haven't seen an email from the SI Yanks yet, however on the perks for pinstripe plan ticket holders this year is access to the pre-sale:

    http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/t...=.jsp&sid=t586

I can tell you right now though that the reason they have that pre-sale is so the Minor League teams sell seats- their budgets aren't nearly as high and I know many people with plans just because of the presale. Whether that is right or not, that's a different story. Personally I have never used the SI Yankee pre-sale password because I have the NY Yankee one.

Nothing wrong with taking advantage of it. Minor league games are a very fan friendly atmosphere. I just didn't agree that they should get Yankee presale rights.
