I wonder if David Reaves is going to join the Trojans as their QB coach? Kiffin has already said he's going to call the offensive plays which is why I think Chow staying at UCLA was for the better.
Reaves is the brother of Kiffin's wife. We'll probably find out soon enough where he ends up, you know the Trojans want to continue to recruit nationally so Reaves can help out there by covering the southeastern part of the country for them with his local contacts.

I don't care if we have to play it in Poland, but we better make a bowl game next year.

Great news, if Herzlich is even close to what he was before the LB core should be awesome.
http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/ncf...ory?id=4846399
BOSTON -- Boston College linebacker Mark Herzlich is back on the practice field for the first time since leaving the team to undergo cancer treatment.
Herzlich led part of the captain's practice on Thursday in the bubble-covered field at Alumni Stadium.
The BC linebacker was the Atlantic Coast Conference defensive player of the year in 2008. He was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, the next spring.
He missed all of last season
Not surprisingly, I was just about to post that.
Herzlich, Kuechly, and a hopefully healthy Will Thompson should be an awesome starting LB group. The depth is very impressive too, Morrisey looked great at times last year, same with Disanzo and Clancy, and then they got one of the best OLB recruits in the country in Kevin Pierre Louis, though he will probably redshirt.
Too bad about the first game being against Weber St, but if that place isnt packed and as loud as ever when he steps on the field i was be seriously disappointed.
As I noted elsewhere about 15 minutes ago, I'd like to go for that reason and that reason alone. I know, the mighty Weber State Wildcats will just be a huge draw as well.
Thats great news!Originally Posted by Big_Matt34

next year is UConn's best chance to win the big east. I'm not saying we will, but we play all the "tough" schools at home, and we aren't losing many players from our team last year, but it's still gonna be a challenge. There's even a slightly possible (but unrealistic) shot at even going undefeated, if they can win @ Michigan as well.

Mountain West should've gotten more of the pie. TCU and Boise State had a great turn out in the Fiesta Bowl and the MWC had a great bowl record. What gives?Originally Posted by Maynerd

Well there is definitely a disparity there, but in reality if the non-BCS conferences drew the amount of fans that BCS conferences did then the disparity would slowly disappear. The fact of the matter is, BCS schools draw more fans and more fans = more money. There aren't any 100, 000 seat stadiums in the WAC, MAC, CUSA, etc for a reason.
Also, I don't think that money includes the money that went to the individual bowl teams for playing in the BCS games.

It's signing day today. Kiffin appears to be closing well on some prospects. It will be interesting to see if he can land some linemen today. Henderson is a possibility.
We got Sean Parker!
Also, the fact that all of these guys are in my graduating class is somewhat mind-blowing.

Miami's schedule is absolutely brutal next year. I'm starting to think the AD wants Shannon to get fired:
Sept 2 vs. Florida A&M
Sept 11 @ Ohio State
Sept 23 @ Pitt
Oct 2 @ Clemson
Oct 9 vs. Florida State
Oct 16 @ Duke
Oct 23 vs. UNC
Oct 30 @ UVA
Nov 6 vs. Maryland
Nov 13 @ Georgia Tech
Nov 20 vs. Virginia Tech
Nov 27 vs. South Florida
Never left the Betances bandwagon.
I assume OSU is going to Miami next season? I like that home and home series.Originally Posted by NelsonMuntz
