A number of those penalties were bogus. All three on Revis were terrible, the one illegal contact call on Coleman was awful too.Originally Posted by Mark19

True enough, although I was worried those 3 points lost due to the 2 penalties would come back to hurt themOriginally Posted by dabomb2045

How slow is the Pats secondary? Is does Merriweather run a 5.0 40 or something? To not be able to track down Rice on an 80 yard run is shameful.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
Wish my Bolts had to play the Pats next week....they look soooo awful!

Patriots channeling their inner Red Sox
There was never any expectation of the Patriots to win this year. The ownership didn't think they would win. The management knew the writing was on the wall. The fans knew in their heart of hearts that there was never any chance for a successful season. The media knew it better than everyone. The Patriots didn't want to win last year. Satisfaction abounds. Oh, yes, there were folks posting things on various fan forums stating last winter that the team was constructed in a way that would allow them to compete for a ring. Some even gestured that the team would win it all in 2009/2010. But they all knew... It would never be.
Looking back, they were all correct. It matters not what was written in the past, it only matters what they felt deep down. They all knew that last year was never ever in the cards.
Kudos Patriots. Kudos Patriots Fans. Well done.

I just got home and turned the game on. 24 to nothing? For real?

Was the crowd just booing the Pats? Awesome.
Javy Vazquez's 2010 non-Cy Young season: 4-10, 7.15 ERA, 140 Ks, 170 IP.
I didn't even check this morning - I assume the Cowboys won last night, right?

Why didn't the Ravens challenge that?
Why wasn't that challenged?

harbaugh, you're fired. what did they create the challenge system for? challenging 8 yard passes?
I figured that. I saw some of the first half and they looked to be outplaying the Eagles pretty badly.Originally Posted by NJ Fan

Nice to see the Patriots get a gift 7 points from John Harbaugh.

I still don't understand why Harbaugh didn't challenge that fumble recovery.Originally Posted by Beyle
