We need a winter solstice celebration.

I'm going to blast the heat and wear shorts all day tomorrow.

Must be the season for babies. A friend of mine and his wife had a c-section scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday. Baby had other plans. Yesterday a baby girl was born by natural delivery with no anesthesia (emergency).

yes, expected to go home Monday night. But her first child was born via c-section as for health reasons a NVD is more difficult.

    Congratulations to your friend, Rick.

One of the nurses told me there's an old wife's tale about babies being born before a big snowstorm.

Good thing she's heading that way today rather than tomorrow or Wednesday. The Midwest is expected to get another foot of snow before Christmas Eve.

    Good morning everyone.

    Is everyone all dug out?

I'm at work early today since I have dentist appointment at 4. I'm getting a crown put it; currently I have the temporary one. $$$$$$

I was just thinking about how busy this week will be and a little bit of a panic attack....

Morning all! I missed the end of LTE 3...how sad. I had a little bit of a migraine yesterday - Todd, I don't know how you live! I had a bad headache during church (I had to read at the 12:15), then it went away during the service, then we went to Walmart and I almost passed out in the aisle between the head and the nausea. I managed to get home, nap and feel OK enough to wrap gifts, but I need a day off this week. I'm asking my boss...wish me luck!

Linda - I'm so glad you're getting to see snow while you're here!

Danielle - I'm kind of dug out. Everything is dug out except my car, so I'm taking JP's brand new car to school tonight. Good times. We got about a foot...ugh.

    Jake - you are nuts.

    Muggsy - how's the grandbaby?

    Afternoon LTE4!

Taking a quick lunch break, then I have to get back to business. Did the food shopping this morning and got my nails done, now I need to start wrapping presents. Shannen is home, so I'll have to hold her stuff for later. Maybe she will help me.

Bub, Nicky has been having nosebleeds as well. Started last winter, so I bought a humidifier for his room and it helped. But I dropped the tank when I was filling it and it cracked, so I had to buy a new one. Before I did, he had 3 bloody noses this week...2 at night when he was asleep and one yesterday during the day. If he blows his nose, it bleeds. Not a lot, but still.
