I didn't know what China on TV meant when I saw people mention it, but then it happened to me today.
I'm on FF, and was going to reply in the LTE I believe. Don't remember exactly what thread, but probably there.
I was able to back page to get out of it, but I am going to run a full virus scan now.

I got it twice and ran a scan both times. Didn't pick anything up.
I stopped using IE (am on FF now) and haven't had any issues yet...

Well when my computer got really effed up a few weeks ago, I couldn't get rid of the anti-spam crap that kept appearing so I had to break down and bring my laptop to a computer guy which cost me almost $100-. He installed ASG or whatever that anti-virus software is and it catches everything except this stupid China TV crap.

Do you have the Ad Blocker add on? I do and haven't seen anything..maybe try that out til this gets resolved?

I don't know what I have as far as ad blockers. On my other laptop, I had pop-up blockers but I don't think I have them on here.

Just happened to me a half hour ago, again. Using IE. Happened too quick to see which ad was on the top banner. I was in the Just Conversation Forum.
If I had 3 wishes... One of my wishes would be to make a select few of you Pirates Fans.
I know very little about it too, to be honest. I think isolating the problem is the tricky part, and thusfar that hasn't happened. Hopefully soon.

We've continued to look into this issue but it's very difficult to isolate and eliminate. Apparently this isn't just a problem on this site but others as well and all are having the same difficulty in getting rid of it. The ads that show up when this happens are not ones that we are running on the site so it's not a simple matter of getting rid of a particular ad and then the problem is gone.
