OK So Why Does This Happen When I Cut and Paste?

Sometimes when making a post, I write it out on MS WORD, because it is easier to read and edit.

Each time I do, here is what happens as an example

You are typing ": p" (together) somehow.

Click edit on your post above and you'll see exactly why.

A better option for you would be to use Notepad (on Windows) and I'm sure there's a basic text editor on Mac systems too.

Or you can turn off the WYSIWYG post editor in your options here on the site. That should allow you to paste just the text without all the MS Word nonsense.
