Most Losses Without A Win In A Season

Brad Lidge is 0-8 so far. If he doesn't get a win in the last few games, he will become the 20th pitcher ever with no wins and at least 8 losses in a season. 11 pitchers have had 9 losses without a win, and 5 of them have had 10 losses without a win. Terry Felton of Minnesota in 1982 has the most losses without a win with 13.

You really do come up with some bizarre stuff. Interesting, but bizarre.

Don Larsen was 3-21 for Baltimore in 1953 and 1-10 for Kansas City in 1960. In between he reached immortality with his Perfect Game for the Yanks against the Dodgers in 1956.

While these seasons don't qualify Larsen because he did get somw wins, perhaps they qualify him for an honerable mention.

I know this is not the same as having no wins but in 1962 the Mets had right hander Bob Miller who had a record of 1-12 and Craig Anderson with a 3-17 record and that didn't include two players who had 19 and 20 game losses. By the way, the Mets in their first season finished with a record of 40-120!!
