    Tyler Clippard this year

    http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/player...playerId=28694

He has done well this year....glad to see it. I liked him as a Yankee and he has performed better than I thought he was capable of.
    Hoping Rivera can pitch forever!

Ridiculously low .198 BABIP. Walks are still a bit of an issue with him as well.
    Never left the Betances bandwagon.

What's an average BABIP number? I'm not sure, and am just curious what's a white flag number where you can say, yeah he's probably been lucky.
    Javy Vazquez's 2010 non-Cy Young season: 4-10, 7.15 ERA, 140 Ks, 170 IP.

league average is .290-.300, but its best to compare with the player's career line

Ah, that makes sense, thanks. I guess that could be hard if a player is only 2-3 seasons in though.

I've watched him a fair bit this season and he isn't blowing anyone away. He can still make it as a RHRP but he doesn't have the control to be a true high-leverage reliever.

    Igawa: That's secret.
