God I missed Devin. Love seeing him back.

I gotta imagine Lawrence Frank is in a bit of trouble, no?

Good overview of the Brooklyn goings.
Do the Nets really have to play the Lakers tomorrow night? I mean, do they have any chance of winning and avoiding a tie for the worst start to a season in NBA history?

Frank to be fired. I am jealous.
You've gotta feel for Lawrence Frank here. This is clearly not his fault, it's clearly nothing he did. Thorn didn't give him the horses to compete, and then forces him to take the hit for not competing. Sad ending for a quite decent coach.

He's been more than decent since his inception as the Nets head coach. Have you see the roster he's had to go to war with? Check out the 2005-2006 season. I have no idea how that roster won 49 games.Originally Posted by ZYanksRule

Great read on Coach Frank.
I dont get how the Nets are THIS bad. I mean there is no way they should be 0-17....there is some talent on that roster. Hell, I'd take the Nets roster over the Knicks roster...thats for sure.

For the future, absolutely. Right now? No, I'd take the Knicks roster. They at least have some depth.Originally Posted by dabomb2045

But at least the Nets have a pick coming to them after this season.

Kiki is the new coach. I can't wait to see him get canned.
Any chance of the Nets beating Dallas tomorrow night? Any?

No. I just watched the 1st half....and....damn. Dallas scored 77 in the half, 49 alone in the 2nd quarter. They are shooting 80% from the field.Originally Posted by RYMASTER or Ryan_Yankees

Will the Nets "beat" the 1972-73 76ers record of 9 wins?

Congratulations New Jersey Nets.

A lot of blood sweat and tears but the Nets have finally climbed the mountain and stand alone in the record books.

It was Terrence Williams. It was his first win in the NBA. He wasn't celebrating himself, he had a crappy game, but he was celebrating the team. I loved seeing it.Originally Posted by TierReservedCreature

Terrence Williams is a colorful character...
The Nets could sign Bosh, LBJ, and draft Wall #1
then sign and trade Devin Harris for a two guard like Joe
Johnson or Josh Howard
John Wall
Joe Johnson
LBJ
Bosh
Lopez (the good one)
Any questions??
"Owning the Yankees," Steinbrenner once said, "is like owning the Mona Lisa."
Wow, it looks like Michael Kay is calling the Nets game today on YES.? And here I thought that things for NJ couldn't get any worse.

I'm surprised they didn't get John Sterling to do it, especially since he was the broadcaster for the Hawks back in the 80's, the team the Nets were playing against tonight.Originally Posted by 26 and counting

New rock bottom. On the plus side, Brooklyn is pretty much a lock, and the Prokhorov looks like he is in.
I can't see this teaming beating the 9-73 all time worst record for one season.

What a great location as well - I used to live right there, and every subway line goes through the Atlantic Center (10-15 mins outside Manhattan via subway, 5 minutes if traffic is good by car) , including express stops. It's a safe area, but parking is going to be a b*tch. I'm assuming they will also build some sort of multi-level parking garage over there as well.Originally Posted by Joba-Walkee

This is the worst team the Nets have EVER had but i'm still a fan of them.
