    8.26.2009 Yankees V Texas pre-game

Well since the season ended yesterday on Swisher's bunt and then Yanks were then eliminated from the post season when Melky lined into a double play, hardly seems worth starting a thread but here is the Yankee lineup anyway

    Jeter SS
    Swisher RF
    Teixeira 1B
    Rodriguez 3B
    Matsui DH
    Posada C
    Cano 2B
    Hairston LF
    Melky CF

And yes the first paragraph is intented to be sarcasim for those who miss that kind of thing in writen posts.

How do you figure the season ended yesterday? They were not eliminated from anything.

I have no association with "TEPLimey" at nomaas. Apparently a very disturbed individual likes to get their rocks off on pretending they are me. Sad, really.

I have both starting pitchers throwing tonight in various fantasy leagues. I predict the score will be 9-7 after 4. Anybodys guess as to who will be leading.

    Re: 8.26.2009 Yankees V Texas pre-game

I project that the Yankees will score more runs tonight than they will allow. Perhaps the hit totals between the two teams will also reflect that dynamic. All this will be done over the course of about three hours... maybe more, or maybe less. What IS clear is that the Rangers will either strike out, be tagged out on the bases, or fly/groundball/line/bunt into outs a total of at least 27 times. This much is certain.

This Yankees need a quality start from Andy tonight. The starters have been giving up quite a few runs lately. Time to right the ship.

Swisher bunting was dead wrong. I'll say it in every possible thread.

This just in- Gold's Gym closing all locations in NYC due to low membership. Golds CEO claims "New York Yankee fans now prefer to get their daily exercise by jumping to conclusions after baseball games."
