Lineups are in. Figured I'd start this in case anyone wants to tailgate.
(7:11 CDT start - yes, they have a promo with 7-11 Stores!)

Technically GTs aren't allowed until 60 minutes before game time, but I'm not a mod, so...let's go.
238 more runs to score 1000.

    Per Abe:

UPDATE, 8:15 p.m.: Here’s the deal. Rain is expected in the next 10 minutes. That rain will last 30 minutes. Then there will be baseball. So we’re talking 9, 9:15, something like that.

The Yankees are now 206-1 when Mariano has been asked to protect a four-run lead.

    Re: July 30, 2009: Yankees (Pettitte; 8-6, 4.67) @ Chicago (Floyd; 8-6, 4.24)

This is interesting, if true we won't be adding anyone....

Jayson Stark and Buster Olney of ESPN.com report that the Yankees inquired about Bannister, but talks didn't develop because the Yankees asked the Royals to pay the $650k that remains on Bannister's 2009 contract. Since when does $650k stop the Yanks from making a deal? As Stark and Olney say, welcome to the wacky world of baseball 2009.
