Garza is a good pitcher. he's only 25.

also, interestingly, according to baseball-reference.com, there have been 40 Garzas in the minor leagues and only one in the majors.

Maybe Damon out and Hinske in. Joe wanted to give Johnny a day off on the turf anyways.

Pitch well, young Chamberlain. We don't want to give the FO any reason to do anything foolish.

That's odd. I assumed Hinske would be playing. My thought is they'd give Matsui the day off and DH Swisher.

Apparently, one should never, ever assume this.

I thought that after last night some outfielder not previously on the active roster would be playing. I guess I was wrong.

Halladay doesn't beat the Rays either. At least not this year.

And? They're trying to trade him ... aren't they?

Don't have a good feeling about tonight's game, hope I'm wrong.

I had a good feeling about last night's game and look how that turned out.

Well Garza is certainly a safer bet to have a 7-8 inning quality start than Joba. It would be nice to get a series win ahead of going to Chicago.

Going into the series, I expected to win the first two and lose this one. Now, for some reason I'm feeling a win tonight.
