I like yours better. I figured no one else was starting one but looks like we started at the same time.

Yeah, I did it by default because I didn't see one.

I'm fine using either. It's not a big deal.... just as long as there is a game thread for the game.

Boy, after watching that cluster---- of a press conference in Flushing today, aren't you glad not to be a Mets fan?

Omar should know better than trying to throw a sports writer under a bus because the brotherhood of sports writer will circle their wagons faster than cops with the blue wall of silence.

He screwed up because he was going to look bad on this no matter what the truth is.

One of my part-time jobs is as a sportswriter, too... and you're so correct about that. Sportswriters absolutely back their own -- not just sportswriters, though. Journalists as a whole do it. Just look at how the media really ate Palin alive after she blasted them every single day.

SNY is very interesting right now -- they're killing Minaya for going after the Daily News writer... honestly, I'm watching that at the moment while they discuss this. Fascinating TV.

    hola thread heads !!!1!

no harm, no foul in the first (other than the 20 pitch inning)
The Yankees are now 206-1 when Mariano has been asked to protect a four-run lead.
