28, here we come!
He's going somewhere. He is still not scheduled to pitch tonight.
I'd rip my hair out.

Much like Washburn, not a guy I'd want on my team ordinarily, but the Yankees need arms and if he's cheap, why not take a shot. I don't want to see anything of significant value going to Cincy for Cornrolls though.
Washburn is better.Originally Posted by Brick Tamland

interesting
I rather not have the Yankees pay $13M+ to a pitcher whose production can be matched by Sergio Mitre.Originally Posted by Brick Tamland

I would take him if they took back Igawa and took back enough money to make the contracts match. Needless to say, that isn't likely to happen.Originally Posted by THEBOSS84

Duchscherer could likely be had for only slightly more than Arroyo and isn't owed nearly as much money. Even if Douche has elbow surgery again tomorrow, he'd likely pitch better the rest of the way.Originally Posted by Brick Tamland

No. I still wouldn't take him.Originally Posted by DaSh 1s

No, I have no interest in putting a terrible pitcher in my rotation for the next two seasons and pay him a lot of money.Originally Posted by THEBOSS84

I'm basically saying that they can make the trade, cut Bronson and still come out on top. By a lot.Originally Posted by JavyVazquezIsSick
no, Bruce would be worth it even if we DFA Arroyo after this year or use him as a reliever but obviously thats not going to happen . espically not when he's on the DL right now with a pretty serious wrist injury.
he had 18 homeruns by late june. the power potential is absurd. there's risk sure but at 17M spread over 3 year and a pitcher thrown in you can take that chance.
FOR TAIWAN!
Yeah, I didn't see Bruce before in that proposal, prob do it if we did that, however what Bruce is at this point is still unknown. Right now he's a below offensive player.Originally Posted by THEBOSS84

The Yankees are calling ao washburn..But i think we will stay put will what we have....dont know if we can win it all with the pitchers we have....i still give up joba for halladay..
Give me the Douche please........but ARROYO?
That's like Pavano territory.

No thanks on Arroyo, but that pretty harsh. Arroyo actually takes the ball every fifth day and was a pretty solid # 3 up until this season.Originally Posted by Stache Fan

Arroyo to the yanks?? No thank you. We'd have better chances having Mitre take over CMW's spot
The real reason why the Yankees keep winning is cause the other team can't stop staring at the damn pinstripes
