I'd prefer Ian Snell. I will say that Arroyo probably is as good as Mitre. Either way, given that it's this kind of move that I think we will make for our rotation, it's another reason why I think the Yankees will keep Joba in the rotation or the playoffs and will manage his innings by skipping him.

The rumor that he is coming to NY for Jackson SHOULD be laughable. I don't doubt you see the Yankees trade for him though, forgive the saying but he is like the little girl with the curl. When he is good he can be very good when he is bad he is so bad it makes his ERA jump over 5. He gets wins though so that is indicative of him staying in games. Trust me I'm not an Arroyo supporter but if he is cheap enough he could be an ok 5th starter/insurance policy. Who knows maybe he has a great start against the Sox for the Yanks? Lets try to be positive. Of course if he is traded for AJax then permission to freak out.
