"Owning the Yankees," Steinbrenner once said, "is like owning the Mona Lisa."
Man, we just ran out of steam at the end. You knew getting killed on the offensive glass would catch up to them in the end. They had no semblance of an offense at all. Too much iso.
But, they have nothing to be ashamed of. Yes, it definitely hurts, especially for the big 3 and Sheed, as who knows when they'll get another opportunity like this. They were a 50/50 pick against the Heat, and nobody gave them a shot against Cleveland and Orlando. They put together a terrific postseason.
Lakers were able to win the game where they shot 30%. The Celtics could not. That 3 from Ron Ron at the end was a dagger.
Congrats to b_joseph and any other Laker fans here. Lakers showed a lot of toughness, which was the biggest difference between now and '08.

That is a nice moment for them.Originally Posted by b_joseph

Artest's press conference was pretty darn awesome.
Ed Tapscott (interim GM) is the dbag who passed up Ron-Ron. I've lost sleep over their failure to draft him.Originally Posted by Brick Tamland
