This is a tough one. I'm going to have to think about it a bit. I think it's down to Brian and Stewie for me, with Quagmire also in contention.
my second fav is brian, but stewie takes the cake.
for me it all came down to one moment. stewie and brian at a diner, having a regular conversation, when stewie looks toward the door and says, "excuse me, brian..." then at the door, a hooker recognizes stewie and darts out...stewie chases after her yelling, "don't you walk away from me! don't you walk away from me!!!!"
oh my, that is epic comedy right there.

Though I don't watch much Family Guy anymore, Stewie and it's not even close. I have a Stewie keychain as well and people tell me "oh I love Stewie too!"
We should do this for the Simpsons too.
and, yea, Stewie all the way.
Peter, no question. Quagmeyer 2nd. Gigitty

Stewie and Peter are great characters, but I went with Quagmire. He's such a freak!

I find Quagmire little too disgusting.
Voted Quagmire, Stewie's a close 2nd.
Edit: I should've voted Other. The creepy old guy always gets me to laugh.

I'm not sure if I have a favorite....I chose Peter because I've laughed the most at moments involving him.

Stewie is great but I had to go with Brian. The interactions between the two of them are often the funniest thing on the show.

I voted on the "Who would you rather have a beer with?" criterion. Brian over Stewie. Of course, Stewie is underage.

They are all great characters but I had to go with Quagmire. I don't think there's ever been a scene with him in it that I don't laugh.

Looks like, just as on the show, no one likes Meg.
To be honest, I thought about not putting her in there but I thought someone would come in and say" where's meg?"..probaby a Sox fan.Originally Posted by gdn

I voted for Stewie. The other characters have their pluses, but I can't imagine the show without him.
I wonder how they thought to give that accent to Stewie...would he be as funny without it?![]()
On a side note, I'd just like to say that I have a huge crush on Seth MacFarlane.

Probably Peter. Brian and Quagmire kill me, too. Lois is more subtly funny. Mayor West cracks me up, too. I love this show. A lot.![]()

Brian... but undoubtedly the eps with Brian and Stewie as the main focal point are the best.

Brian: What are you doing?
Stewie: I'll teach that hussy to go on a boat ride without me. When she returns, I'm going to put bamboo splinters under all her finger nails. Then I'm gonna strip her down and tie her to the bed.
Brian: Okay.
Stewie: Then I'm going to make her crawl on her hands and knees while I drip hot candle wax all over her back.
Brian: Uh, and then what are you going to do?
Stewie: Uhh, let's see.
Brian: You gonna shower her off after all that candle wax?
Stewie: No, I'm gonna keep her filthy!
Brian: Yeah, she's been a bad girl
Stewie: And then I'm gonna gag her with her own brazier.
Brian: (laughs)
Stewie: What?
Brian: No, no nothing, nothing. That's all part of your diabolical plan to...humiliate her.
Stewie: Yes, yes, she'll be humiliated.
Brian: Maybe you'll handcuff her, she'll hate that.
Stewie: Then I shall do that as well.
Brian: And call her a bitch.
Stewie: Until I'm hoarse with rage!
Brian: Maybe smack her ass with a riding crop.
Stewie: Yes, and then-- what?
Brian: No I mean that would like, t-- that would show her.
Stewie: Are y-? You're getting some kind of sick sexual thrill off of this aren't you?!
Brian: Who cares?! You're not gonna kill her anyway. You're gonna bitch and moan, and then you're gonna do what you always do. The minute Lois walks through that door you're gonna forget all about it, beg for your apple juice, go poop and fall asleep.

Was it really necessary to give Cleveland his own show? this is bad...
I haven't watched it and really have no desire to watch it. Cleveland isn't that great a character, IMO. Quagmire would've been a better choice for a spinoff, though I'm generally not a fan of them, anyway.Originally Posted by b-ball-lunachick

Was it that bad? I didn't watch it, didn't plan to watch it, and I had a strong suspicion this show would flop long before it ever aired.
I voted Quagmire since I'm of that mold too... Still, the scene that gets me the most is the one where Peter breastfeeds Stewie... My brother and I were laughing about that scene for about an hour straight.... (Seriously, when Stewie picks a nipple hair out of his mouth and gags, how can one NOT laugh at that absurdity?!)
Moo
Quagmire's hilarious, but he's completely one-dimensional, and the joke would get old really fast if he were the main character every single episode. And once you give a character like that any depth you ruin the appeal. I guess they figured Cleveland was a character they could develop and have fun with, since he's kinda neutral. Haven't seen the show, so I don't know if it's any good.Originally Posted by jlw1980
