It's a YES Network camera or cameras with other live shots of in-game action besides just the home plate view. I just got HD over the winter so I've been waiting to try it out, but that's my understanding of it.
I noticed YES on Directv doesn't have the interactive feature this year. I loved that where you can bring up the boxscore, lineups, etc. Anyone know what is going on with that? Or did they make it only on HD now ?
Directv used to have a lot of features they no longer offer. When you went to ESPN you had that feature, if CNN you had news headlines, weather for the Weather Channel.
As far as Bonus Cam, I've been saying for years how tired I am of the same camera angles every game. One game from 1985 looks no different from a game today. If I was directing a game I'd have new camera angles, maybe a shot of the pitcher and hitter going from left to right of the screen instead of the centerfield camera. I'm guessing Bonus Cam is my idea put into action.
I'm in Chicago and blacked out from channel 632. Is anyone else out of market also being blacked out? I'm trying to determine whether I should be getting this or if it's only available in the NYY market. Thanks.

I'm blacked out too. I think this channel is probably only carried in the NY market. It's too bad, but I don't know how DirecTV and the other carriers can make it available w/ out adding it to the Extra Innings channels.Originally Posted by MunsonNY15

I'm wondering if the YES bonus cam will be available during My9 broadcasts. Does anyone have any idea?
