If it happened to me then it probably accidently happed to others. Difference might be for me was that I saved what I saw after entering. Copy and pasted and then sent a copy to myself for proof. Also a copy of all I picked. I just don't trust computers is all. Note the time I copied and sent to myself.

Take a look. Looks normal to my eye and then sure looks weird when I preview it before posting it in here. Just like it looks when I sent you the copy very early this morning. Must be a computer thing that changes the look.

Hey thanks. My entry was submitted in time. I got a message that said so. Stick Michael, a former champion and a yearly generous prize fund contributer, for said contest, is the only person I have found that has a email address available so I could forward the proof of picks from my aol account ... in a way that shows everything. (including time and picks and entry acceptance message I received)

For some reason the message isn't accepted as pasted when using the NYYFans instant messaging process ... which could be because I'm not sending the information correctly. I don't do well with computers and am now stuck with a dial-up connection out here in the sticks of Ohio. The message I sent Lou didn't show the picks ... but something forwarded to another aol account will show it as pasted. My son, The Sox Kid, received the information as shown. I hope it works for other email accounts also. I hope Stick looks and sees exactly what I will be posting next ... which were my picks.

ALSO - note time. Was sent in about 47 minutes before deadline. Also got a return receipt saying ...

No. People are not responding because your appointment was already decided upon last year -- in the Final Standings of 2008 contest thread. You probably didn't go back into the thread, after a bit, because you saw that I was using too many colors and smilies. Understandably, you then avoided the thread ... but by doing so, you missed your election.

Additionally, I second Stick Michael's proposal that JDP be elected into the Hall of Fame...

James is correct in what he proposed. I know JDPNYY would never think of inducting himself into the HOF. So ... if my vote has any bearing at all ... I'd like to go on the record in saying that John does belong there too -- and he has my one little vote.

He's busy working on the off-season contest and this year's 2009 contest -- and you won't let him out to vote. Another Veteran Committee Member -- SIBaseballman, a known Mets fan, would most likely vote the same. However, he is probably still upset over his answers for five special "free" answer Yankee questions ... which he answered exactly like me. Poor SI is most likely hiding out now with a pillow over his head because of his answers. As for others that haven't replied ... they're just not seeing what posts I've made ... because I'm on their ignore!
