I figure there's got to be some other fans of this show that can't wait for Friday night. It sounds like we'll finally find out who the final Cylon is in this episode too.

Woo!
It's going to be very tough to out the final cylon without making it incredibly cheesy. Also, I expect them to drag it out as long as possible. I'm anxious to see what happens on the charred husk of Earth.

Best show on TV, bar none.
Anyone watch the 10-part "webisode" on the site? They did not fool around there with that one. I was expecting a bunch of cutting room floor stuff, but they revealed some good stuff.
The Caprica preview looks very good also.

I got into the show late, like only a few months ago but caught all the way up. I'm not sure how it's going to end, but the show has been great up until now.
Lance Berkman is a Yankee!! Finally a Rice U. guy on the team!

So I guess before tonight's episode airs, I'll post my official guess of Laura Roslin as the final cylon. Re-watching season 3 finale, as soon as they get to the nebula and the other 4 realize what they are, she has a headache/vision, and I think that the other 2 having the same visions are cylons is a bit of a clue too.
Also, the last cylon needs to be a big deal and really upset people, which is why I don't think it would be someone like Gaeta or Dee.
I also think Gaius is about ruled out as one of the "visions" of the Opera House shows him and Six with Hera looking up and the final 5 staring down at them.

If you don't have Netflix, get it. I moved this summer and had nothing to do for a while, so I picked up this show after hearing good things and couldn't stop watching it each time a new disc came in the mail. I'm pretty dorky but have never been into science fiction shows before, but this is pretty close to my favorite show of any genre of all time.Originally Posted by mgpenguin

Here's a recap of seasons 1-3 made by the folks at sci fi. If you're new and wanna watch tonight then this will give you a good idea where things are: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9Naffrc_kY

A little disappointed in the Final Cylon reveal, but I'll wait for the explanation before rioting. I also could have done without the Dee subplot.
Starbuck's storyline was the real goldmine of the episode. The scene where she burns her own dead body on a pyre was perfect.

I'm extremely, extremely disappointed in the final cylon...but whatever, I didn't really expect this season to be so good. maybe they'll surprise me.
Lance Berkman is a Yankee!! Finally a Rice U. guy on the team!
I don't get it--how can we consider the final Cylon to be revealed when we have two candidates for the job? We need either a good explanation for Kara's Doppelganger dead pilot other than both are Cylon or a more persuasive indication than the vision at the end of the show. And I am not sure that "none of the above" is totally out of the running.Originally Posted by bcom33

Yeah... so I could really have done without that last Adama/Roslin scene.
This last episode seemed a bit disjointed from the first one, and Lee Adama is a terrible politician.

Can BB55 do a recap of the past seasons so I can watch the last 10 and know what's going on?
If I had 3 wishes... One of my wishes would be to make a select few of you Pirates Fans.
No but go to the BG site and play the clip "What the Frak is Going on?" and it will update you in 13 minutes flat, complete with comentary.Originally Posted by JDPNYY

Watched it. Always loved the original series.
Is it possible that the wrecked Earth that they reach in the new version is in the past? ie, in our past? So that Adama---or however it's spelled = Adam? Who is Eve, though?

That was the best episode since the season 3 finale. Screw them and their cliffhangers though, I can't wait until next week.

Is that what happens to us? A life of conflict with no time for friends… so that when it's done, only our enemies leave roses.
That episode was so chock full of badass.
I especially loved the scene where Lee arrives on Galactica, gets taken, and Starbuck comes in and just pops a couple of marines to free him. Just a complete "we simply don't have time for negotiation" moment.

No that would be Lost, but BSG is #1A.

They've found a way to take cylon teenage angst and make it compelling. I love this show.
Also, I like Tigh's line: "Yeah, you point a finger back far enough and some germ gets blamed for splitting in two."

Baltar was easily my favorite character up through his presidency, then he got all one-dimensional and marginalized. I get it, he's a smarmy opportunist. But if you'd only watched the last two seasons or so, you'd have no idea that he's supposed to be an amazing scientist. You'd think he'd be spending night and day over on the base star tinkering with fun cylon toys. And not just the female ones.Originally Posted by Sam18

I hate having to watch this show one week at a time. Can't wait for the last episodes.
And it's looking more and more like Starbuck is somehow either #7 or connected (obviously) to it somehow.

A lot of people hated last night's episode but I loved it. It was nice seeing them on Caprica again. I really hope Baltar does something epic.

I was hoping for a bit more action, but I think they did a great job setting up the finale. I think (hope) that Baltar will take Lee's words to heart and join the mission to finally do something that doesn't benefit him.Originally Posted by Sam18

Yeah, I doubt they'd have him go that far. It'd be one thing to have him go on the mission, but it just doesn't seem believable that his character would willingly give up his life.Originally Posted by Sam18
